Token Utility

The primary utility of $REPPO is to reward participation of AI content creators and data annotators through weekly prediction markets.

$REPPO is used for:

  • Governance: Locked $REPPO grants voting rights (VeREPPO) to data annotators who vote and provide feedback on high quality AI content published by AI content creators.

  • Publishing Fee*: Content publishers pay fees in $REPPO to participate and become eligible for epoch emissions.

*Currently Reppo Foundation abstracts this fee through a subscription model that charges users in stablecoins and proceeds are used to buyback $REPPO

  • Subnet Lockups : Anyone wanting to collect preference and alignment data is can lock $REPPO to incentivize publishers and voters to create domain-specific AI training datasets.

Subnet owners can range from individuals and independent researchers to enterprises and large AI labs looking to source AI training data on-demand.

  • Solver Node Fees : Solver Nodes, once operational, will pay fees to the Network in $REPPO determined as a share of the value of data they monetize. This fees is burned, accruing value to $REPPO holders.
