Token utility

The core tokenomics is actively is being designed in collaboration with CryptoEconLab.

Reppo will issue a native utility token that will be used to incentivize participation and value exchange in the Reppo Economy. Such a token might reward:

• ModelRivet usage and governance: Pods and enterprises pay gas fees in Reppo tokens to use ModelRivet, which is account abstracted using our approach to tokenomics parallelization. This includes paying a single subscription fee, similar to web2 experiences, paid in fiat or stabelcoins, to access to DeAI infra - dataDAOs and datasets, storage, compute, hosting, inference etc. and any other ingredient needed to incubate and build intelligence in their Pod.

• Pod contributions and governance: Pod can opt to contribute their intelligence as a "public good" i.e. share it with other pods and the community at large instead of serving private use-case using gateway protocol's EDVs for which they can directly charge their customers. Such pod-specific models and agents is committed to the Reppo Intelligence Cluster i.e. a group of pods and pods gets tokens rewards.

• Pod owner royalties tied to on-chain reputation: When a pod owner's intelligence in requested by the community at large, they accrue reputation through the Reppo Protocol every time an inference is requested from their intelligence Pod. Pod-owners earn tokens based on their reputation accrual.

• Staking to access Reppo DeAI OS - Reppo's architecture (below) removes the need for gatekeeping partnerships team and makes it permissionless for infra providers, including Data DAOs and pools like Vana, Frodobots, and Zap to participate in the Reppo economy. Providers can enter and leave the Reppo ecosystem based on what makes most sense to them and incur integration costs with ModelRivet. Slashing functions built-in to prevent abuse behaviour from infra providers such as leaving the network without proper account/data migration.

• We are exploring limiting real-estate on the supply side layer taking Eddy Lazzarin's advice and iterating on designs from Bittensor and Polkadot Parachains.
